Welcome to Tiro Press - Here you will get a flavour of who we are and our publishing philosophy.
Our aim is to support and publish the work of new authors or those who have written specialty or niche market books which scare off the bigger publishers. We aim at a market for authors selling in the 1000 - 5000 copies range but have marketing capabilities to handle books selling tens of thousands or more - but these are not easy times in publishing so author expectations need to be realistic. This does not mean we neglect books that sell in hundreds rather than thousands.
Book publishing is an imperfect science. There are no absolute sure-fire guaranteed winners but we have enough experience in publishing to get a feel for titles which can reasonably be expected to sell and what level of risk is likely to be involved.
